WOW they are hard work! I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out my video editing software and the outcome was a fairly rough and ready tutorial on how to made the easiest card EVER! But I thought there would be no point in me doing a really complex card only to find that the darn camera hadn't worked, or that I couldn't get it all together on the computer afterwards!
This evening I went for a slightly more difficult card - still only a 10 minute make (apart from to topper). I'm going now between it and my blog and Facebook this evening, cos I have to leave it to upload and get itself all worked out in the nuts and bolts department - or whatever it is in computerland! It's not half time consuming!!! I just hope that someone finds them useful.
I'll post a link when I have it all up and running!

Hello again! Keeping the Craft Room Tidy!
Hi All,
I'm back! I haven't been on my lovely blog in ages! I must start again. Hope all of you are well. Still low on the old followers count, so if you can suggest it to anyone, Nelly would be eternally grateful.
For those of you who are friends with me on Facebook, you might have noticed that a week ago, I tidied and cleaned my crafting room from top to toe, and despite the large number of cards and scrapbooking projects I have done in that week, I have managed to keep it totally in order since. (with the exception of the odd little cut off on the floor which I haven't picked up! Bad Nelly!) I have discovered the key to keeping it tidy - when I have a project finished, I put everything away - and that's EVERYTHING - paper, stickers, glues, tapes, scissors, blades - EVERYTHING! Even if I intend to use it again straight away, it goes back in its box or drawer and I start from scratch. I know it probably sounds like a lot of hassle but its really not that time consuming. I have my work area designed so that all the essentials are organised in a way that all this taking out and putting away is quite like second nature.

Drawers - I LOVE them! Got some new ones this week for paper and cardstock. Lidl had a really sturdy one on offer last week, so I managed to pick up the last one. I was glad there was only onle left when I go there because I probably would have taken a half dozen! (they're stackers, you see) So I have now separated out (1) mirri boards; (2) black, white & cream paper and cardstock; (3) Bright coloured paper and cardstock; (4) vellums of all types and patterns and (5) scalloped cardstock and cut-offs of all types into drawers. The system seems to be working well so far, as I have the drawers on the table top, while all my patterned papers and collections are in a big tub on the floor. So I have all my plain stuff on hand for matting and layering, etc...

While some things have become very organised, I have to say others not so! RIBBONS! I have completely given up on trying to organise them into any sort of categories or colours. I LOVE ribbons in my projects but I really have issues with keeping them tidy. Up until this week I had 2 mini drawers and 2 plastic tubs and a shopping bag full of ribbons, so this week I invested in a large plastic storage box and ALL my ribbons are in there now. The only thing that's orderly about it, is that they are all in the one place! (The lid doesn't exactly close though! oops!)

So there we have it - my OCD rant!
I'm sure I'll be back in a few days to tell you al it has gone pear shaped and will be eating my words! ( Hope not!)
